Yes ... and no.
We do not directly host Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is its ongoing licensing costs and how this would ultimately translate to you, the customer.
BES is a proprietary platform that is expensive, resource hungry and troublesome, and because its cost would effectively double the price of an ExchangeServer SILVER mailbox each and every month, we have decided not to directly provide BES support through ExchangeServer.
However, we strongly recommend that you consider using a simple but powerful software program called AstraSync. It's an outstanding, far more flexible and cost effective solution to provide you with full integration to ExchangeServer via ActiveSync over the air.
AstraSync comes at an annual cost that is less than hosted BES support would cost if we were to provide it.
Our reasoning is simple ... we want to save you money and the associated ongoing problems arising from using Blackberry Enterprise Server.
While this may seem like a strange stance to take for a hosted Exchange provider to take, we know it to be a sound decision given that our platform rarely, if ever, experiences any problems or outages and that we already seamlessly and flawlessly integrate with the iPhone, which in our estimation is quickly overtaking the Blackberry as the most effective, mobile, handheld business device available. ExchangeServer also fully and natively integrates with the iPad.
